Northwind 60 “Barbas“

North Wind Yachts have a long distinguished history of producing first class off shore sailing vessels. Sea Independent are very proud to offer this well presented North Wind 60 Deck Saloon. It is very evident that there is Spanish style in this yacht. The interior layout is spacious and elegant, on deck the cockpit is separate from the helm position which gives more entertaning and relaxation space. A full bimni and dodger provides great protection from the elements and the wide teak decks add to the wonderful style of the yacht. The sail plan is fantastic and easily managed with a furling cutter configuration and in mast furling. Five electric winches operate the sails and short handed saling is made simplistic with this set up. The transom opens to unveil a platform that is perfect to suit up and go diving, swimming or board the tender. The Deck Saloon gives a spacious ambience in the saloon area with seating for 8. The galley is set down from the saloon and the has all of the appliances you will ever need. An ice machine and 3 large 24 volt fridges will see food fresh for extended periods.The vessel is fully air conditioned and powered by a 9 KW Kohler unit. Washing machines and water makers are included in the comprehensive inventory. The accommodation for guests and owners comprises of 1 double with private ensuite, 1 twin bunk with shared ensuite and an aft owners cabin with full hanging cupboards,drawers, writing desk ,queen sized bed and a large ensuite with separate shower stall. The vessel is power by a 315 HP Yanmar diesel engine and is centrally located with large opening internal hatches for excellent access. The nav station is well sized with all neccesary navigation aids.
