Swan 66 S “Planeta“

This stunning Swan 66S is a new Swan model and is a breathtaking performance cruiser. She has very generous living space, with a striking light and modern, but comfortable interior. With a noticeably clean deck layout she also benefits from a shallow draft keel which is perfect for worldwide cruising. Deck and rig equipment is absolutely first class, with a carbon mast and boom, PBO rigging, rig hydraulics and electrical winches for easy handling when short-handed. Below decks, she is lacking nothing: watermaker, generator, air conditioning, additional heating unit and a top level entertainment system ensuring comfort and luxury on board. Planeta sustained damage following an explosion in the lazarette. The damage was assessed by independent specialists using laser shearography and mechanical impedance analysis, and fully repaired by Nautor at their factory in Finland under the careful supervision of a highly qualified surveyor. Following the repair, the yacht was re-certified under the Recreational Craft Directive - an unusual step but one that emphasises the exhaustive nature of the work carried out.
