Swan 55 “Clever II“

Designed by Sparkman & Stephens the Swan 55 is a beautiful sloop of the early 70's swan's. Tauranga a yawl model, sister ship, was successfully raced in the first Whitbread Round the World race in 1972. Clever II is a excellent example of a yacht that has been owned and maintained to a very high standard by a proud owner. Over the years she has been improved to make her easy to sail shorthanded by a couple. The interior is made with the contrast of teak and clear colour woodwork in order to give light and space to rooms and has been just recently revarnished. The boat has been constantly upgraded trough all 2008,2009 and 2010, with new main and genoa, new paint to teak fittings on deck, new varnish in the gallaey and sloon area, new autopilot,new elctric Orvea WC, and many other small maintenance In short this boat has been very well looked after to Swan standards since new and it will appeal to those wishing to do some serious cruising for a couple or family with the peace of mind that only a Swan can offer.
